  Sales Kick Off FY 09 

  

  setelah acara sales kick off FY 09, ada acara outboundnya dan salah satunya naik kuda cing…. asik juga naik kuda. ini pertama kali gw naik kuda. klo naik kuda-kudaan udah dari kecil dan klo main kuda-kudaan pas….ti enak hehehe…..

  secure PPTP 

  For the most secure PPTP VPN connections, do the following:

  •	Use EAP-TLS with user certificates or smart cards.
  •	Require the use of the strongest possible encryption.
  •	Use a remote access policy to define who can make a PPTP connection based on group membership (if you are using the Routing and Remote Access service).
  •	Configure PPTP packet filters on your firewall interfaces and VPN server interfaces.

  Setting secure VPN on client

  • from your vpn setting

  • right-click the vpn setting than click properties

  • on the security tab, click advanced (custom settings)

  • use allow these protocols, tick mark on Microsoft CHAP version 2 than clik ok

  you must have administrator Privilege to follow those steps done

  Can not ping the linksys router 

  I just configure Linksys router properly, I said properly because I follow the manual and the wizard menu step by step. after that I try to ping the static IP and access the router to see the result.

  I find out that I can’t ping or access in to the router by web, I wondering what wrongs with the configuration. why I can’t ping or access the linksys router by  the web, than I try the find the SSID of my router. I can find the SSID of my router, so I thing it’s got something to do with the security setting.

  than I check the security setting and firewall setting, I found the firewall setting is enable with some tick mark option. in the help menu it’s said when you turn on firewall (enable position) than your router can not be ping or access by the web.

  How do I know my router work properly, because I can’t monitoring all my linksys router in 24 hour…!? and what about the security if I turn off my router firewall…!?
